Anne Johnson
Hi, my name is Anne Johnson, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD. I am a multi-lingual (English, Malayalam, and Spanish) speech-language pathologist licensed in New York and Connecticut. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut as a double-major in Speech Language and Hearing Sciences and Human Development and Family Studies. I went on to earn my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York Medical College.
I currently work at an Early Intervention Program based in Valhalla, NY for children from birth to three years of age with disabilities and disorders including mixed receptive and expressive language disorder, articulation disorder, phonological disorder, fluency disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, feeding disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and Down syndrome. I have experience working with children ages 2-5 years in the special education preschool program and adults in the acute-care rehab setting. I deeply value collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support every client’s communication needs and ensuring that carryover strategies are being generalized into the client’s natural environment and other settings.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family, binging Bollywood movies, and hopping on the latest dance trends(in my room, of course)!
